Groveheart for Android

The Groveheart app puts the game on your home screen and opens it full screen, in landscape, without the browser bar. It is the same game as in the browser: the same world, your characters and your friends. And it is always up to date, because every update of the game reaches the app at once.

How to install it

Tap Download the app on your phone or tablet. Your browser may warn that this kind of file can harm your device: choose Download anyway.
Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source and go back.
Tap Install. If Google Play Protect asks about the app, you can let it scan the app and then install it.
Open Groveheart from your home screen and press Play now.

Android shows these questions for every app that does not come from Google Play. The app is signed by Groot Games, and later versions install over it.

Good to know

The app shows the game with Chrome (or your phone's own browser), so keep that browser up to date.
Your characters live on the game server, not in the app: switch between the app, the browser and Windows whenever you like. Like in the browser, a guest's progress is kept for 7 days - save it to a free Groot ID to keep your character for good.
The app has no ads and asks for no permissions. What the game stores is on the privacy page.
To remove it, uninstall it like any other app. Your characters stay safe on the server.
