Privacy
Groveheart Online is made for players of all ages, so we keep what we store about you to the minimum the game needs. This page says plainly what that is.
What the game stores
- Your account: the account name you choose and your password, which is stored only as a secure one-way hash (nobody can read it back), the date the account was created and when you last logged in.
- Your characters: their names, class, level, items, skills, cards, quests and where they are in the world, and the nest (guild) they belong to.
- Server logs: the game server records logins (with the internet address they came from) and game events such as trades, so we can stop cheating and abuse and fix problems.
What we do not ask for
We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, birthday or location. Please do not use your real name as your account or character name.
Cookies and tracking
This website and the game do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The browser version of the game keeps your game settings (and, if you choose, your account name) in your own browser's storage.
Chat and other players
Other players can see your character's name, look, level and nest, and the chat messages you send. Be kind, and never share personal information in chat.
Removing your account
You can delete your characters in the game at any time. To have your account removed completely, contact Groot Games through groot.games.
